Whisper Route
This exhibit is not accessible during the winter months.
Two satellite dishes or parabolic antennas face each other at a distance of 40 metres. If one of the concave mirrors catches sound waves, it focuses them at the focal point in front of the centre of the mirror. The sound waves are amplified in such a way that we can still clearly hear the whispering of the other person at the other dish in our own concave mirror.
